Topaz Simplify is a great plug-in for Photoshop that can help in making ordinary photos and images really brilliant. After installing this plug-in there appears a Filters section in Photoshop. It contains a range of tools for creating incredible pictures. For example, you can take a simple photo and add artistic features that usually are characteristic for paintings, like pencil sketches, watercolor paints or gouache paints. The plug-in toolbar is organized as a system of sliders for changing multitude of parameters, like details size, edge strength, brightness, saturation, contrast and many more. Combination of all these parameters will help you implement all creative ideas. Also Topaz Simplify includes a range of presets that can be applied to any picture. You can check out examples of using Topaz Simplify on the popular photo sharing Internet service Flickr. The software is light-weight and doesn’t need a lot of system resources to perform properly. Unfortunately it doesn’t include a help file, but you can get some extra information about it on the developers’ home page.
