AutoTURN, a timesaving CAD-based program, lets you analyze and evaluate vehicle maneuvers for projects such as intersections, roundabouts, bus terminals, loading bays or any on/off-street assignments involving access, clearance, and maneuverability checks. Main features: - Perform 3-part vehicle reverse simulation maneuvers to any vector - Ability to continue generating new independent paths from one main path - Ability to generate a straight line section while generating an arc path - Unlimited number of path sections for vehicle simulations - Reverse Corner Path allows a reverse sweep angle range of 1° to 160° - Ability to add in realistic vehicle plan views for simulation creation and animations - Generate swept path envelopes from user-defined vehicle shapes with chamfered corners or filleted radii - Real-time, dynamically updated information (radius, steering and articulating angle values) of a selected vehicle turn radius during the designing and editing process - Define and hatch either the vehicle body or the vehicle’s outer swept path envelope for tracking during a turn simulation - SmartPath Tools uses four interactive drive modes for performing vehicle forward, reverse, and oversteering turn simulations through mouse movements - Front and rear steering linkages gives users the ability to simulate realistic turning maneuvers with front and rear steered vehicles - Create simulations using arcs, polylines, complex chains, or splines (only with Place Vehicle option) - Run a vehicle simulation that maintains constant clearance from roadway elements - Create instant corner simulations that account for vehicle oversteer - Incorporate speed, lateral friction, and superelevation factors into vehicle simulations - Modify and edit drawn simulations using Path Control - Create conical lines of sight to evaluate mirror views, blind spots or headlight paths - Add and analyze vehicle loads and clearances - Create and simulate vehicles with independent rear steering systems (including crab steering for supported types) - Ability to numerically input or use the mouse wheel to dynamically control the independent rear steering angle for specialized vehicle configurations - Create and simulate vehicles with telescoping trailers to represent logging trucks - Updated vehicle libraries for Alberta (CA), Florida (US), Netherlands, Sweden - Use specialized vehicle types including: Wind Tower Trailer; Wind Blade Trailer; Beam Transporter I and II; Booster Trailer; 19-axel Heavy Hauler - Ability to draw cargo for a vehicle simulation and combine the cargo envelope with the vehicle body envelope - Define cargo size and set limiting factors for vehicle configuration to operate within industry parameters to prevent damage to the payload or surrounding environment - National design vehicle standard libraries for: US (AASHTO, Caltrans), Canada (TAC, Alberta), Australia (Austroads) ,UK, France, Austria, Germany , Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, New Zealand Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and Czech Republic - Special libraries include: Architectural, Transoft Realistic - Updated vehicle libraries for Alberta (CA), Florida (US), Netherlands, Sweden - Vehicle types include: fire engine pumper, double articulated bus, sport utility, pickup, and rear steered vehicles - View and sort library database to show by region, type, number of parts, class, and vehicle characteristics - User-created vehicles and types can be saved and added to the library
