HiveMind is an optimization component, able to find optimal solutions for multi variable optimization tasks, without requiring comprehensive knowledge of optimization.

HiveMind implements advanced Computational and Swarm Intelligence algorithms to perform an efficient analysis of the problem to be optimized. These algorithms allow the HiveMind component to avoid local minima and maxima and search for the best global solution in the search space. Multiple constraints can be set to be met simultaneously.

These algorithms simulate a virtual particle swarm, which moves through the search space defined by the optimization variables. In their movement, the particles interact with one another, sharing information regarding the various solutions found. As each particle seeks to find an optimal solution, the entire particle swarm advances toward finding an optimal solution.

HiveMind allows optimization of up to 20 variables at a single time, using different ranges and constraints regarding each one.

After a problem to be optimized has been defined, it's defenition (along with any solution found) can be saved to file, allowing for quick reference later.

The HiveMind Interface allows easy access for these features, however, it can also be used as an independent dll in another program, called using Ms-SQL or by industrial SCADA software.
