The history of April fools Day, sometimes called All Fools Day is uncertain. There has not a exactly first April Fools Day on the calendar, but the current thinking is that it began around 1582 in France with the reform of the calendar under Charles IX. The French came to call April 1 Poisson d'Avril, or "April Fish." French children sometimes tape a picture of a fish on the back of their schoolmates, crying "Poisson d'Avril" when the prank is discovered. It's simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool! Of course you can be the one make other the April Fool.
