EZ-R Excel Desciption:

The function of the program is to make statistical analysis easier, hence the name (“Easier Excel�). The routine facilitates and supports data analysis by providing numerous tools and charts, leveraging the facilities within MS-Excel.EZ-R Excel has been tested with Excel 2003 and Windows XP. This routine is available at no charge, and may be used for any purpose, including personal and commercial. EZ-R Excel is a Windows based menu driven system This facilitates access to the functions without having to remember special key strokes. A variety of analytical tools are offered, classified as follows: Work With Ranges - Basic Statistcis Classify and stratify data Benford's Law analysis Descriptive Statistics Histogram Univariate Statistics Obtain Crosstabs Check for Gaps in Sequence Numbers Frequency Distributions Telephone Area Code Validation The routine also provides analytical review functions based upon the Kolmogorv-Smirnov test which can compare two Balance Sheets or Income Statements at different periods and easily identify the most material item contributing to the difference and the extent of that difference. This assists the auditor in deciding which accounts should be reviewed further.
