It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers watch MPEG coded video and have full control of the software through network that security server can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all modules work as autonomous programs. If one part freezes, other parts keep on working. For example if the `capture` unit fails, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart computer using Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
