The program has been designed as common software for security hybrid platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same appearance and controls on the local and remote workstations. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the software using net that security computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program's modular composition drastically increases reliability because all units operate as autonomous programs. If one component stops working, other modules continue working. For example if the 'capture' part freezes, 'watchdog' starts again it immediately that viewers don't notice anything because they are viewing picture using a 'playback' part. The program does 'cyclic' recording that the 'disk full' situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant computer using Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
