It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the program via net that surveillance station can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software's modular structure extensively boosts reliability because all units work as independent programs. If one module freezes, other components continue working. For example if the 'record' component fails, 'watchdog' restarts it right away that viewers don't notice anything because they are watching video using a 'playback' component. The software makes 'cyclic' recording that the 'hard drive full' situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote server using Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
