It has web interface with the identical form and controls on the local and remote computers. Users see MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the program using network that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program's modular structure significantly boosts reliability because all units act as independent programs. If one part freezes, other modules go on running. For instance if the 'record' part fails, 'watchdog' starts again it right away that users don't notice anything because they are viewing picture through a 'playback' module. The software makes 'cyclic' recording that the 'hard drive full' situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant server through Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
