The program has been created as general application for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the program through network that surveillance pc can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software's modular structure extensively improves reliability because all parts proceed as autonomous applications. If one unit freezes, other modules go on running. For instance if the 'capture' component freezes, 'watchdog' restarts it instantly that viewers don't notice anything because they are watching video through a 'playback' part. The software performs 'cyclic' recording that the 'hard drive full' situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be started by activity, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart pc through Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
