It has web interface with the same look and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers view MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the software through net that surveillance station can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software's modular composition considerably improves reliability because all units operate as autonomous applications. If one part freezes, other units continue running. For instance if the 'record' module stops working, 'watchdog' starts over it right away that users don't notice anything because they are watching video using a 'playback' unit. The program performs 'repeated' recording that the 'hard drive full' situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant computer using Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
