English & Armenian Dictionary is a translation tool developed by Armenian Dictionary Software Inc. This piece of software follows the same criterion of all the application produced by Armenian Dictionary Software Inc., the extreme simplicity. The application develops entirely in a single window with two tabs: one tab for the English to Armenian translation; the other tab for Armenian to English translation. In each tab you will find three sections: The input line at the top, where you can type in the word to be translated; right below the input line you’ll find the word list, listing the whole word database alphabetically ordered; and the translation section at the bottom, showing the translated words. All you have to do to get this dictionary to work is to input a word in the input line and it will automatically search and translate the word (if it is included in the database). An interesting alternative to this method is the import word feature. By hitting this button the application enters in a stand-by state. Then, you can select a word to translate in any desktop application you have open in your PC, and the dictionary will input the word and translate it automatically. When you are working in the Armenian to English tab, there’s a new button available with a little keyboard icon on it. This button opens a virtual Armenian keyboard so you can enter a word (considering that it isn’t likely that you have an Armenian keyboard). Another feature of the dictionary is the Export Word feature. With this option you can export the currently selected word in the dictionary either to the clipboard or to a notepad file. Finally, you can access to the settings screen where you can configure colors and other parameters of the application to your like. English & Armenian Dictionary is designed to run on Windows based systems only. It runs almost in every version of Windows though (32 bits versions only).
